That research has become the basis for the Quality Indicator Survey (QIS) that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has been testing and is now planning to implement nationally. We believe that the promise for the QIS can only be realized if the same quality standards and tools that are used in the QIS are made available to you for ongoing quality assurance.
