New Summary Report!
abaqisTM Stage I Suite now includes a Summary Report
The summary report identifies which care areas a facility should focus their quality improvement efforts on in order to improve their survey readiness and manage their risk.
The report shows a colored status icon which summarizes the facility's performance in each Care Area. The icon indicates whether the care area would be investigated further in the survey with a potential for citation because the survey threshold is exceeded (red), whether the care area is at moderate risk for further investigation and citation (yellow), and whether the care area is highly unlikely to encounter further investigation and deficient practice (green).
The report summarizes the results from all the Stage I Suite investigations which together include 104 indicators of quality of care and quality of life (termed QCIs). These indicators are linked to 26 care areas used in the QIS that are tied directly to the regulations and F tags.
The individual assessment reports show where a facility rates relative to the survey thresholds for each of the 104 indicators based on the same logic that is used in the QIS survey process. In combination, these reports guide a facility in quality improvement and continuous survey readiness by showing where their care is potentially deficient, as well as the root cause of this potentially deficient practice.
